Description
We are looking for a crafter for our Tuesday Night Family Meals! This volunteer will help kids create crafts during the meal time from 5-6:30PM. All the supplies and crafts will be provided unless you'd like to bring your own. Please arrive around 4:30 PM for setup. Weekly position available.
All volunteers must attend the mandatory Volunteer Orientation to get started
About Community Dining Room
Founded in 1985, the Community Dining Room (CDR) is a private, not-for-profit organization providing food, support, and companionship to our shoreline neighbors. We serve the south-central Connecticut shoreline. The Community Dining Room is committed to providing meals to the community and supporting basic human needs. Our vision is to see a well-nourished community. We strive to promote public awareness of the impact of hunger and isolation in our society. We are dedicated to helping our guests with their practical needs through referrals and fellowship.
