Paddle for the Sound celebrates the rivers, lakes, ocean, and all greenspaces that make the Long Island Sound region truly spectacular. This friendly kayak, SUP, and canoe competition and fundraiser helps to protect our region and build a world where everyone feels welcome and has access to enjoy this beautiful estuary. Sign up as a participant here: https://www.savethesound.org/paddleEach paddler is asked to raise a minimum of $150 by setting up a personal or team fundraiser page to support clean water across the Long Island Sound region. Prizes will be awarded to top three in each category: Most Funds Raised and Total Distance Paddled. Be sure to track every excursion throughout the ten-day event period (7/31 - 8/9)
