About The Shore Line Trolley Museum
Join the dedicated team at the Shore Line Trolley Museum, where history comes to life! Located in East Haven and Branford, CT, we are home to the oldest continuously operating suburban trolley line in the U.S. and a National Historic Landmark. Our mission is to preserve and share the rich history of trolleys, railways, and transportation with the public. We’re looking for passionate volunteers to help in various areas, including: Trolley Operations Restoration Projects Track Crew Special Events Tour Guides Museum Store and Ticket Agent Office Work Groundskeeping Building Maintenance and Physical Plant Public Speakers and Outreach Marketing and Media and much more! Whether you love history, enjoy working with the public, or want to learn new skills, there’s a place for you at the Shore Line Trolley Museum. No prior experience is necessary—just a willingness to learn and a passion for preserving history.
