The mission of Save the Sound is to protect and improve the land, air, and water of the whole Long Island Sound region. As a volunteer, there are many ways you can restore Long Island Sound’s shores and water quality and protect the land, air, and waters of your region. These include rain garden installations, event support, water quality monitoring, river and coastal cleanups, etc.
